On behalf of Emmanuel Baptist Church, I thank you for taking the time to look at our webpage. We at Emmanuel are honored to be a part of God's team. Our intent is to serve the Lord in ministry in whatever way He leads us. We are excited about the possibilities for the future and invite you to come and be a part of it ith us. Our Beliefs:

1. We believe the BIBLE to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in God's Son, Jesus Christ, as the one who can save people from their sins.

4. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, his shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His Second Coming.

5. We believe in the Priesthood of the Believers--that all who trust Christ are able to go directly to God in Prayer and live in accordance with what He says.

In addition, it is important for parents (and everyone) to remember the following:

It is legal to have the Bible on your desk. It is legal for children to read their Bible when they are allowed to select any literature for personal reading time. Remember all school employees, according to the Supreme Court, 'Do not leave their religion at the schoolhouse door.'

Many schools are teaching the Bible as literature which is to be applauded. Prayer? Everyone has the right to pray-ANYWHERE-particularly to give thanks during the lunch hour. Children have a right to write about their religious beliefs and experiences when a writing assignment is given for creative writing unless a specific topic is given to them.
